This Shimano HG500 10-speed cassette fits all 10-speed Shimano groups and offers great value for money. This cassette can be used for both road bikes and mountain bikes. It has a spider, providing the cassette with plenty of rigidity while making sure it's not too heavy.

Good replacement for my old cassette.

Good cassette for road bike. After replacing the front sprocket and chain, I found that the chain was skipping on my old cassette. I put the new cassette on myself. With the right tools, this is not difficult. Tapped it with a rubber hammer to loosen the old cassette. Useful video instructions from Mantel.

This 11/34 cassette has a good range of gears, and was installed without any problems with the chain or derailleur, replacing an 11/32 (the mountains get steeper as you get older!).
